The 2019 Copa Coca Cola tournament was launched on Wednesday at Pamushana High School in Bikita, Masvingo province.
As the defending champions, Pamushana was drawn to face provincial winners from Mashonaland East and Midlands provinces.
The provincial education director for Masvingo province Zedius Chitiga, who was the guest of honour, said that he was impressed by the standard of football displayed by teams in the province.
Coca Cola was represented by senior brand manager Vee Chibanda. She said that the company prioritises sponsoring the country’s oldest schools football tournament.
