Manica Diamonds coach Luke Masomere was elated by his club’s 1-0 victory away to Herentials in a Castle Lager Premier League match played at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking to the media after the match, “Vahombe” said:
I am really happy for the three points which we picked up after playing a good brand of football.
We have had a very difficult showing before this match. We needed to make amends and we managed to do just that.
The morale was a bit down but with this win, we will be hoping to post impressive results going forward.
The only goal of the match came in the first half through the boot of Stanley Ngala. Though Herentials created the majority of the chances, they could not find a way past the Manica Diamonds coach.
