Mwonzora Elated By MDC Win In Mutasa By-election

MDC secretary-general Douglas Mwonzora has expressed gratitude over the party’s victory in Saturday’s Mutasa ward 10 by-election. Writing on his Twitter handle, Mwonzora said:

Thank you, MDC for winning the Mutasa Central council by-election in Manicaland. We will continue to excel. It’s time to consolidate our support ahead of the crunch 2023 elections.

MDC Alliance candidate Rosemary Tanyarazdwa Mukodza polled 801 votes against Margaret Tindirika’s 548 and Tanyaradzwa Chirimo’s 16 of ZANU PF and NCA respectively.
