Vuzu/Orgy Partying Bulawayo Youths Spared Jail

Bulawayo youths who were arrested on Saturday in a police blitzkrieg targeting Vuzu parties were spared jail by Bulawayo magistrate Franklin Mkhwananzi.

Three men, Bhekimuzi Moyo, 20, Prichard Sibanda, 22, and Alex Ndlovu, 20, were spared prison by the magistrate after they admitted to charges of criminal nuisance.

The trio was arrested outside The Vista restaurant and bar in the city centre. They were ordered to complete 105 hours of community service after their three-month prison sentences were suspended.

Six other youths escaped with cautions after they all pleaded guilty to criminal nuisance after they were arrested at the Centenary Park on Saturday night while playing loud music and drinking alcohol.

The six are Zenzele Ndlovu, 20, Bongani Mhlanga, 19, Tatenda Mpofu, 18, Valentine Sibanda, 26, Sebala Moketsi, 24, and Gabriel Tarambiwa, 22.
