British Royalty: Megan Gives Birth To Baby Boy, Prince Harry Announces
The Duchess of Sussex has given birth to a boy, the Duke of Sussex has announced.
Prince Harry, who was present when Meghan Markle gave birth to the boy at 05:26 BST, said that he was absolutely thrilled.
Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the British monarch said in a statement:
The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news.
The duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage.

According to BBC News, the baby boy is seventh in line to the throne, behind the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and his children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – and Prince Harry.
