MDC founding president, the late Morgan Tsvangirai suffered enormously at the hands of the Zimbabwean government during his days in the opposition.
At one point, Tsvangirai was battered and left for dead by police officers during a prayer meeting in one of Harare’s high-density suburbs.

Tsvangirai passed away in a South African hospital on Valentine’s Day last year after a long battle with cancer. His memorial service will be held on Saturday (today) at Humanikwa village in Buhera.
