A man was on Wednesday night died on the spot after he was hit by a truck at a shopping centre in Eastlea, Harare. A ZBC News report said:

Man hit and killed by a truck at Haddon Motors Shopping Center in Eastlea, Harare this evening. First-hand information by ZBC News shows that the man was running away after stealing beer from a liquor centre. Highlands police officers attending the scene confirmed the death.
