Recyling Business A Hit At Ngozi Mine Bulawayo

ZBC News Online reports that Bulawayo residents have run into a mini gold mine at Ngozi Mine as they are turning trash into cash. Cardboard boxes, empty beer containers, plastic bags, etc are being recycled into useful material in the popular dump site.

One Bulawayo resident says they are making 3 legged pots from scrap material. they pick from the popular dump site. The joint is creating demand on different levels, transporters, garbage sorters, etc who are indeed making a living out of scouting the dump site. Most Zimbabwean towns are battling waste management problems.
