Zimbabwe Bird A Symbol Of Idolatry: Nelson Chamisa

MDC President Nelson Chamisa has referred to the Zimbabwe Bird as a symbol of idolatry. He said in a tweet on 17 April 2018 that the country needs to deal with institutional idolatry.

There were mixed reactions to Nelson Chamisa’s message with some Zimbabweans supporting it while others did not receive it well.

Chamisa, however, deleted the tweet afterward.

  1. ummm , i think we should always be careful with these young leaders of today . their priorities are rather mixed up , they have been Europeanized en-masse . they have no clue what or who we are as africans. its very frightening to imagine what would happen if they eventually lead the nation.
