The former chairman of the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) board, Albert Mugabe appeared before Harare magistrate Mrs. Victoria Mashamba facing charges of criminal abuse of office.
Mugabe tendered false letters of undertaking to set off a mortgage loan facility to CBZ bank without the board’s approval.
Mashamba granted Mugabe a $500 bail. He ordered him not to interfere with witnesses, to reside at his given address, report once every Friday at ZRP Highlands and to surrender his passport.
