SA Govt Extends Operating Hours At Ports Of Entry During Easter Holidays
The South African government on Wednesday said that it would extend the operating hours at some border posts during the Easter holidays.
It said that this was meant to facilitate the smooth movement of people and goods at the country’s ports of entry during the busy period.
In a statement on Wednesday, the South African Ministry of Home Affairs said:
All departments and agencies have provided for officials at ports to work overtime in order to deal with the expected increase in traveller movement and to avoid congestion.
