President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Thursday visited Manicaland to assess the progress that has been made so far in repairing the damage done to infrastructure by Cyclone Idai over two weeks ago.
Mnangagwa was accompanied by parties to the State House dialogue, which is made up of losers in the presidential election held on July 30 last year. A ZBC News Online Twitter post reads:
ED, political parties visit Cyclone Idai disaster areas. The President & leaders of political parties have just left Mutare headed for disaster areas. Among the political leaders present is Prof Lovemore Madhuku, Thokozani Khupe and Brian Mteki.
