Zambia and Botswana Ready To Work With Zimbabwe On The Kazungula Bridge Project
Zimbabwe has been included as an equity partner in the Kazungula Bridge Project by Zambia and Botswana. The country has been encouraged to pay up for their share of the bridge.Namibia has also been given the chance to join the project.
In a meeting held at Zambia’s state house in Lusaka, President Edgar Lungu (Zambia) and President Mokwegetsi Masisi (Botswana) stated that there were happy to incorporate Zimbabwe to the project as an equity partner.
The two leaders also said that there will engage the Namibian Administration on the issue of incorporating them to the bridge project. President Lungu stated that the official commissioning of the Kazungula Bridge Project is 2020
