Chitungwiza Calls For Investors

Lovemore Maiko, acting mayor for Chitungwiza mayor has encouraged investors to come to Chitungwiza.

While officiating a four-day Chitungwiza Trade Fair at the Town Centre, Maiko said:

As our vision states Chitungwiza Municipality, the first choice town with abundant investment opportunities, therefore, it is an open call to all those who wish to invest in Chitungwiza to come and do so.

We have quite a number of investment opportunities and these include water and waste management and water supply. We are facing water challenges in Chitungwiza and our plan is to have our own source of water.

The acting Mayor further indicated authorities’ intentions to create a business conducive environment. He said:

As your city fathers, we are going to create an enabling environment to ensure that your businesses thrive. Currently, we are doing urban renewal which is in tandem with our motto that “Chitungwiza is open for business.

The event dubbed “Marketing and Networking in Chitungwiza” has attracted over 30 exhibitors who are showcasing their services and products.
