The Zimbabwe Republic Police has issued a warning following the increase in the number of women raped. The Police has advised members of the public to be ware of people offering lucrative deals. A twitter handle belonging to the police posted as follows:
1/3 The ZRP would like to alert members of the public that we have noted with concern a trend where women involved in vending are waylaid into bushy areas or other secluded places where they are later raped. @ChronicleZim

2/3 The assailant(s) pretend that they want to buy wares in bulk and offer seemingly lucrative deals to lure the unsuspecting victims. We are urging members of the public to be wary of people who want to conduct business with them at secluded places. @cohsunshinecity
