Shyleen and Shylet Nyangade (22), identical twin sisters, appeared in court on Friday charged with assault and extortion. They were remanded in prison to today for bail application.
They are accused of assaulting and extorting US$3 000 from Charles Chikonyora for mistakenly bedding one of them. It is reported that Chikonyora was in love with Shyleen who conspired with her sister to extract money from him.
Shylet is believed to have seduced her sister’s lover and the duo got intimate. Shyleen caught them in bed and accused Chikonyora of being unfaithful. The sisters are believed to have simultaneously teamed up to assault Chikonyora and record the assault. Chikonyora is believed to have paid the sisters US$3 000 after they threatened to expose the video.
Chikonyora decided to report the matter to the police upon realising that Shyleen and Shylet had released the video.
