Mvurwi Man Drowns In River Trying To Recover Bathing Soap

19-year-old Maxwell Mutema of Barwick farm in Mvurwi recently drowned in Mukwadzi River while trying to find bathing soap that had slipped into a river where he was taking a bath.

The incident was confirmed by Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe who said that the body was yet to recovered.

Mutema was reportedly taking a bath with his twin brother in the river when the incident occurred. His brother and a friend identified as Anyway Magetsi could do nothing to help the deceased.
