The 2019 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) season kicked off with a mouth-watering clash between defending champions FC Platinum and ambitious Harare City at Rufaro Stadium on Friday afternoon.
FC Platinum beat Harare City 2-0, with a goal in each half by Ali Sadiki and Kelvin Moyo. FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza was pleased with the positive start to the season by his players. Harare City coach Mark Harrison regretted his side’s lack of scoring opportunities and silly mistakes conceded in defence.
