Local Soapie, Estate Blues Set To Bounce Back

Local soapie, Estate Blues, which disappeared from the small screen over a decade ago, is set to bounce back.

The soapie was aired on ZBC TV from late 2005 but survived only four years due to the country’s dire economic problems.

In a media briefing, the drama series’ creator and producer, Admire Maramba assured the soapie’s lovers that the show will be back soon:

The idea to bring the series back was thwarted for various reasons.

Last year (2018) we gathered with the Estate Blues folks and agreed on bringing back the people’s favourite drama and we started working on it. I can safely say that Estate Blues is back.

We have come of age and we believe we have what it takes to produce a drama that can compete with the continent’s best thereby putting our country on the map.
