The Ministry of Information has dismissed fears that a powerful cyclone, Tropical Cyclone Joanina, is brewing in the Indian Ocean and headed for Zimbabwe. The government said that the Cyclone is based in the Indian Ocean, far away from the mainland.
Addressing the media in Harare on Monday, March 25, 2019, Information Minister Monica Mutsvangwa said that the public should follow the proper and official source of authentic weather information from the Meteorological Services Department. Read the full statement below.
