President Emmerson Mnangagwa and MDC leader Nelson Chamisa have congratulated Zimbabwe’s senior men’s soccer team for beating Congo Brazzaville 2-0 to secure their place in the Afcon 2019 Finals to be held in Eqypt in June.
Mnangagwa said the Warrior’s hard work and victory will serve as an example for Zimbabweans. Said Mnangagwa:
Congratulations to the Warriors! Our boys demonstrated strength and resilience, pride and prowess. You are an inspiration to us all! Your hard work and famous victory will serve as an example to an entire nation!
Chamisa wished the Warriors all the best in Egypt and thanked Zimbabweans for supporting the national team. Said Chamisa:
