A disgruntled social activist claims that the Presbyterian Church has mobilised two haulage trucks to transport aid to areas hit by Tropical Cyclone Idai.
The activist castigated modern churches led by ‘flamboyant prophets’ for not lifting a finger to help the distressed communities. He wrote;
I hear Presbyterian church has mobilized two haulage trucks to ferry aid to affected areas and hired two helicopters from SA to assist in rescue and aid efforts…Thank you. Just wondering where are our flamboyant local Prophets in the midst of such a calamity…
