An elderly woman walked the whole distance from Mbare across town to Highlands where she delivered her gifts for the survivors of Tropical Cyclone Idai.
The woman did not have transport money for the journey which costs at least RTGS$4.
That there was no money for transport did not deter her, so I’m told. She walked from Mbare to Highlands to deliver gifts to fellow citizens in distress. They could use some of her pots, she said. A beautiful story that epitomises the spirit of community & giving
