MDC-T has expressed displeasure over President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s jaunt to the Middle East while parts of the country are under a deluge caused by a violent Tropical Cyclone, Idai.
In a cryptic message in the form of an analogue, MDC-T spokesperson, Linda Masarira-Kaingidza said:
Kana pamusha paine mariro, Baba vepamusha havaende kumafaro uye havaende kubasa musha wakasviba. Vanogara pamba vachimhanya mhanya kuona kuti basa rabatwa zvakanaka nekuronga mafambisirwo ezvinhu. Zvino kana baba voinda mativi mana mumusha muine mariro, anoronga ndiani?
Loosely translated, Masarira-Kaingidza said that only a deliquent head of a household would go to enjoy himself while there is a funeral at home. A ‘real father’ will, instead, run around making sure that everything is in order.
