Belgian-based Warriors captain Knowledge Musona is set to remain in Europe at the end of his loan contract at Lokeren.
Musona joined the Belgian minnows in January on a short-term deal from Anderlecht. His agent, Mike Makaab, in an interview with South Africa’s Soccer Laduma, said:
Look, first and foremost, Knowledge has a long-term contract with Anderlecht once his loan with Lokeren expires, and his long-term goal is to remain at a top level in Europe for as long as possible.
We’ll obviously assess things when his loan ends, but coming back to South Africa is not even on his radar at this point in time, and to be honest, it would take huge money to even consider doing so.
Musona is Zimbabwe’s talisman, with 4 goals so far in the 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
