Former Health Deputy Minister Faces Arrest Over Fertiliser Debt

ZFC Limited has approached the High court seeking an order to compel former Health deputy minister, Edwin Muguti to settle a $24 610 debt he owes.

ZFC issued summons for civil imprisonment against Muguti at the High Court. Muguti is yet to respond. ZFC Limited said Muguti was required to pay $24 610 as instructed by a judgment obtained against him over six years ago. The fertiliser company said in the event Muguti fails to pay the requested cash, he will be required to appear before the High Court and explain his position.
