Now Zimbabweans Can Send Money From South Africa Using EcoCash

Zimbabweans can now send money to Zimbabwe from South Africa using EcoCash. EcoCash has partnered with Cassava Fintech South Africa to provide the cross-border money transfer service.

Zimbabweans living in South Africa can install and use the EcoCash SA App to send money. They can also visit any of the 160,000 outlets in South Africa that have the service.

In Zimbabwe, the money will be received in the FCA Wallet which every EcoCash account has in their menu.

Cassava Fintech International Group CEO Darlington Mandivenga announced the launch:

“The money will immediately reflect in their EcoCash FCA mobile wallet, and an SMS confirmation sent to the recipient of the funds in Zimbabwe.
