Zimbabwe And European Union Resume Dialogue

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Sibusiso Moyo said Zimbabwe and the European Union (EU) are set to resume dialogue this month.

He said the sanctions imposed by EU, though unwarranted, were a temporary setback. Moyo also criticised the renewal of sanctions on Zimbabwe by the United States. In a speech read on his behalf by secretary in the ministry, James Manzou, before Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Foreign Affairs, Moyo said informal dialogue with the EU was launched last month.

  1. Thumps to the government, the government can not fold its hands, let them keep negotiating. New dispensation is totally different from Mugabe`s era who used to declare war to European Union.
