High Court Judge Justice Foroma on Thursday ordered the release of chairperson of the Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition and Heal Zimbabwe Director, Rashid Mahiya after granting him US$1 000 bail.
Mahiya was also ordered to report to the ZRP twice a week. He was also ordered to surrender his passport. Mahiya was arrested on February 25, 2019 when he surrendered himself to police after learning law enforcement agents were looking for him in connection with violent anti-government protests that rocked the country in January.
