Mining Companies, Farmers Given Green Light To Import Own Fuel

The government has given the green light to mining companies and farmers to import their own fuel.

The decision was announced by the Minister of Energy, Joram Gumbo after a Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday. A Newzwire report reads as follows:

Cabinet has agreed to allow mining companies and farmers to import their fuel requirements, Energy Minister Joram Gumbo announced after today’s Cabinet meeting. Gov’t has struggled to end fuel shortages which intensified in October 2018.
