A commuter omnibus conductor plying the City to Mbare route by the name Maromo, was charging $1.50 for the short trip.
The conductor can be heard telling passengers that he is the devil’s neighbour when challenged by some irate passengers.
Maromo demanded the full amount even from those who said that could not raise the exorbitant fare.
The 32-year-old conductor went as far as ‘advising’ passengers not to board his kombi if they are not happy with the service.
