Job Sikhala Criticised For Abusive Language Describing Mentally Ill Rape Accuser

MDC – Alliance senior member, Job Sikhala has been criticised for using abusive language to describe the mentally ill woman who accused Nelson Chamisa of rape.

Sikhala posted the woman’s picture on Twitter asking his followers if they would rape her kind.

Said Sikhala:

Guys here present can you rape this kind of woman nyangwe ukamuwana akashadabura (if you wound her naked)

Job Sikhala eventually deleted the tweet.

The case against Nelson Chamisa was withdrawn after the accuser’s mother approached a family friend, Cabinet Secretary Dr Misheck Sibanda and indicated that the woman has mental health problems.

This was not before many people online, especially MDC-Alliance supporters accused Zanu-PF and its leadership for using the woman to attack Nelson Chamisa’s personality.

UPDATE: It has since established that the woman in Job Sikhala’s tweet is actually not the woman who reported Nelson Chamisa for rape.
