The Public Service Commission issued a statement saying that 10 200 teachers who participated in a strike called for by the Zimbabwe Teachers Union (ZIMTA) and The Progressive Teachers’ Union of Zimbabwe (PTUZ) will forfeit some their leave days.
The Commission said that it is treating the concerned teachers as first offenders and warned of severe punishment if they commit the same offence. Below is the full statement issued by the Commission:
