Chamisa's Sign Language Interpreter Collapses On Stage
A sign language interpreter at MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa’s rally in Gweru on Sunday collapsed on stage due to excessively hot weather.
The incident occurred when Chamisa was midway through his speech.
The lady was immediately taken away to a VIP tent by Chamisa’s aides. Chamisa, however, continued with his address to the thousands of supporters who had braved the current heatwave. Said Chamisa;
Oh sorry… Don’t worry, she will be okay. I think it’s the overflow of the holy spirit in this place.
… She has collapsed because of this excessive heat. It is very hot.
