‘National Dialogue In Progress’ – Deputy Information Minister

The dialogue called for by President Emmerson Mnangagwa is said to be ongoing on Friday. This was revealed by the Deputy Minister for Media, Information and Broadcasting Services, Energy Mutodi. He said:

NATIONAL DIALOGUE IN PROGRESS: Today representatives of various political parties established committees to facilitate national dialogue. The national dialogue will go on without MDC-Alliance who have refused to accept defeat in last July elections.

Mnangagwa invited all losing presidential candidates in last year’s presidential polls for talks to come up with a framework for dialogue. MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa has so far rejected Mnangagwa’s overtures.
