Teachers' Unions Request Urgent Crisis Meeting With Govt

Several teachers’ unions on February 15 wrote to the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education requesting an urgent crisis meeting with the public service and other relevant government offices.

The letter reads as follows:

We wrote to remind your honourable office of a meeting between the Public Service Commission and the Education Sector which was promised during the last meeting of 10 February, between Ministry and Teachers’ Unions.

We, therefore, write to request the said meeting which aims to discuss and resolve on Sector Specific demands and other issues affecting the sector.

We would highly appreciate if you can revert to us on the appropriate date and time for the meeting.
