A delegation from Belarus expressed interest in investing US$15 million into the local agriculture sector.
The Belarusians are targetting an initial 10 000 hectares for farming in Kanyemba, Mashonaland Central Province.

Deputy Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Water, Climate and Rural Resettlement, Vangelis Haritatos said:
We took them to Kanyemba in Mashonaland Central and they expressed interest to inject around US$15 million into livestock, soya bean and wheat production.
