Hamilton Masakadza Retained As Zim Cricket Team Captain

Hamilton Masakadza was today retained Zimbabwe Cricket team captain in all 3 formats. Masakadza was named captain following Zimbabwe’s failed World Cup qualification last year.

He will be deputised by Peter Moore. Dilip Chouhan was named new Chevrons team manager, taking over from Chris Chiketa. Dilip will be the manager of the Zimbabwe senior side, Zimbabwe A and the Zimbabwe Under 19 team.

Walter Chawaguta remains Zimbabwe cricket’s convener while former player Prosper Utseya was named among the substantive selectors. Former convenor Kenyan Ziel is the other member of the substantive selectors panel.
