A relatively small manufacturer of handmade safari shoes in Bulawayo called Courteney Boot Company has attracted interest from customer internationally and is increasing its production.
The company told Al Jazeera that it’s now manufacturing 30 pairs of hand made shoes a day and exporting to the US among other countries.
Courteney Boot Company was founded in 1992 by John Rice, and makes its shoes from pure leather of mostly wild animals.
