PICTURE: Robert Mugabe, A Few Days From 95th Birthday

A recent picture of former President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, has circulated on social media. Mugabe celebrates his 95th birthday this week on the 21st of February.

The former leader of Zanu-PF and Zimbabwe was removed from power in 2017 through a military coup led by General Constantino Chiwenga. Mugabe resigned under pressure from the military after army tanks were deployed in Harare, and politicians close to him were attacked and fled the country for safety. His party’s legislators also moved a motion, together with opposition MPs to impeach him.
