President Mnangagwa revealed Minister of Defence Oppah Muchinguri is currently undergoing treatment for the injuries that she sustained during the Bulawayo bomb incident last year.
Speaking at a thank you rally in Mwenenzi on Saturday Mnangagwa said Muchinguri had to go for a checkup and could not attend the event. Said Mnangagwa:
You may ask why some of our senior politburo member are not here, we have our national chairwoman Mrs Muchinguri-Kashiri. When the Bulawayo incident happened, when a bomb was thrown Mrs (Marble) Chinomona and Vice President Kembo Mohadi injured. Mrs Muchinguri is not here because she went for a checkup on the injuries that she sustained in Bulawayo.
