The government has conferred the late former ZANU PF Chairperson for Bulawayo province, Callistus Ndlovu with hero status. This was by the Ministry of Information and Publicity through its Twitter handle. The statement reads:
The Late, former Cabinet Minister Prof Calistus Ndlovu has been declared a National Hero. The Cabinet Subcommittee on State Funerals & Monuments is caucusing at tomorrow 16/02/2019 at 1000, Mukwati Building Board Room on the 11th Floor. Family representatives are invited.
