In an interview with France24 held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia over the weekend, President Emmerson Mnangagwa claimed that women who said they were raped by security forces during the recent protests were lying. (Read what Mnangagwa said here).

The mask is off. We now know in their scheme of things ZANU PF is above govt and the Constitution. No wonder why Marange diamonds have no arrests, Maguta refused to be audited and Land Audit was rubbished. Maybe they think women are part of the “natural resources” they can “loot”.
Besides the evidence that already exists, as a matter of law on state responsibility, where there are allegations of human rights violations, it is STATE OBLIGATION to investigate. It’s not for the State to sit on its laurels & say “Victim, bring the evidence”. @Wamagaisa
