Prisons Officer Shoots Self In Attempted Suicide, Battling For Life At Mpilo Hospital

A Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services officer stationed at Khami Maximum Prison in Bulawayo’s life is hanging by a thread in hospital after he shot himself in an attempted suicide.

Ngonidzashe Mutoti (36) who is admitted to Mpilo Central Hospital shot himself once in the chest while he was on duty at the prison. The incident occurred at around 1 PM on Wednesday.
