Jimayi Muduvuri To Mobilise 10 African Bishops To Protest In The US Against Sanctions

Zimbabwe Amalgamated Churches Council (Zacc) patron Jimayi Muduvuri on Wednesday said that his association is planning to mobilise 10 bishops from different African countries to travel to the United States of America.

The bishops will protest in the US for the unconditional removal of sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe. While addressing church leaders in Harare on Monday, Muduvuri said:

We will stay at their gates until the sanctions are removed. Churches, traditional leaders and some teachers have thrown their weight to our campaign to have the sanctions removed.

As churches, we feel the burden of economic meltdown because most people come to us when they have challenges. We should take the lead in having the sanctions removed.
