Warriors winger Talent Chawapiwa left Baroka FC for Durban-based Amazulu FC during the January transfer window. Chawapiwa is convinced that he made the right move. He said:
AmaZulu is also a big team. They are one of the oldest teams in the country. It is going to be a new challenge for me.
It is a great feeling to join AmaZulu. I’ve been with Baroka for one-and-a-half years. I’ve grown as a footballer. When such moves happen, it means there’s something good. I’ve got a lot to benefit from this move.
AmaZulu has a good coach (Cavin Johnson), and their style of play will suit me because they are a team that likes to play the ball on the ground.
The Warriors wideman was rumoured to have been on the verge of signing for Mamelodi Sundowns and then Kaizer Chiefs but he opted for ‘Usuthu’.
