FC Platinum Beaten 1-0 At Home To Horoya FC
Zimbabwe football champions FC Platinum were humbled 1-0 on their own turf by Guinean side Horoya FC.
In a match played at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo on Saturday afternoon, Horoya snatched three points in the 51st minute when Marius Assoko beat Platinum goalkeeper Petros Mhari to make it 1-0 to Horoya from the penalty spot.
FC Platinum now faces a mammoth task to advance to the knockout stages of the competition after losing two and drawing one of their three group matches played to date.
