Zimbabwe Deports British, Indian Nationals

The Mail and Telegraph reports that Zimbabwe’s Immigration Department has deported two British nationals .

The two were found guilty by a Harare magistrate court of staying beyond the stipulated time limits set under the Immigration Act. Mark Julian Pattle and Nicholas Bailey were arrested and charged with contravening Section 29 (1) (a) of the Immigration Act. Indian nationals; Shashi Kumar Hassan Shivaraj and Yadav Sadev Lathu were apprehended at a food joint at Marimba Shops in Belvedere.

Shashi Kumar Hassan Shivaraj was allegedly employed at the restaurant in violation of his holiday visa, the Immigration department said.

  1. MaZimbabweans tooneswa nhamo kune dzimwe nyika if we don’t have proper documents. Zimbabwe should also be tough on foreigners who are caught on the wrong side.
