Zimbabwe’s finance minister is in Europe where he was attending the World Economic Forum. The finance minister is working on attracting investors to Zimbabwe in order to resuscitate the economy which has been in recession for close to 2 decades.
In a side forum referred to as the Zimbabwe Investor Forum, the minister said he met with investors from over 80 Swiss and European companies.
Said Ncube:
[We] discussed economic outlook, development plans and shared investment opportunities in Zimbabwe. Zim business delegation engaged & forged new economic ties with European businesses.
