Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi told The Herald last night that they wanted to interview Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) president Peter Mutasa, activist Promise Mkwananzi and some MDC Alliance party members in connection with last week’s protests.
The MDC Alliance members on the police wanted list are Youth Assembly secretary-general Lovemore Chinoputsa, Shadreck Mashayamombe, Munyaradzi Shoko, Christine Magorimbo alias Mai Chiutsi, Ishmael Kauzani and Simbarashe Bernard also known as Juma. Nyathi said police wanted to interview Mutasa, Mkwananzi and some MDC Alliance members with regards to the violent disturbances.
